Twenty New Universities Join the TEA-LP
In October 2022, TEA-LP issued a Request for Proposals from universities in target countries across Africa and the Indo Pacific to join the Partnership and to receive financial and technical support to adopt and adapt one, two or three of our new Masters level energy access course/s.
33 eligible applications were received, and after much deliberation, the selection panel has notified the 20 universities who have been chosen to join the partnership and receive funding.
The contracting will commence in January 2023, and more information will be available on our website at that point. In June 2023, team members from the new universities will meet at a course uptake workshop. By December 2024, it is expected that each the new partner institution will have delivered at least one cohort of students who have completed the new course/s.
