CLASP

CLASP focuses on appliance and equipment energy performance and quality, to mitigate and adapt to climate change and expand access to clean energy. CLASP works in the world’s top-emitting countries to advance data-driven solutions that address the climate crisis while keeping us connected, comfortable, and productive.

Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA)

Advocating clean cooking solutions, the Clean Cooking Alliance website has resources on different fuels, technologies, policy, consumer research, health research and more.

Efficiency for Access (E4A)

Efficiency for Access focus on energy efficiency to promote energy access. They produce useful publications on off-grid appliance markets and technologies.

Energy Action Partners – Community Energy Toolkit (ENACT-COMET)

ENACT aims to foster resilient and inclusive communities that pursue technological innovation, while strengthening social cohesion and shared values. They work to expand individual opportunity and strengthen communities through collaborative projects, activities and educational programs that improve access to sustainable energy services.

Energia

Supporting women’s empowerment in the energy sector, Energia have various related publications and gender mainstreaming resources.

Energy 4 Impact (E4I)

E4I produce research to grow businesses and markets in the energy access sector across Africa.

Equip Data

An initiative by Efficiency for Access, Equip Data provides an independent source for data and information on off-grid appliance performance and quality.

Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP)

ESMAP’s knowledge hub produces tools to track progress on SDG7, including Multi-Tier Framework (MTF) tool, SDG7 Tracking Tool and State of Electricity Access Reports (SEAR).

Global Distributors Collective (GDC)

The GDC is a collective of last mile distributors around the world. They have collated a variety of reports, articles and podcasts related to last mile distribution on their website.

Global Off-Grid Lighting Association (GOGLA)

The industry association for the off-grid solar sector produce regular market reports and have a variety of learning resources on their website.

Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET)

GWNET have collated a variety of publications relevant to the role that women play in achieving the energy transition.

Green Mini-Grid Help Desk

An information service for developers and policymakers of mini-grids in Africa supported by the SE4All Africa Hub.

Open Knowledge Repository (OKR)

An extensive database of World Bank Group research that includes many energy access related reports.

Practical Action

Practical Action produces the Poor People’s Energy Outlook annually as well as a variety of other useful resources in their knowledge hub.
