Assoc Prof Diemuodeke obtained B.Eng and M.Eng degrees in Mechanical Engineering; PhD degree from Cranfield University, UK. He is a fellow of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, and obtained Kauffman Teaching Certificate.He is Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering and Director of Energy Technology Institute. His current research interests concern energy access and clean-energy conversion technologies. He is a recipient of many prestigious academic and professional awards. He is a Registered Mechanical Engineer by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and a graduate member of Energy Institute. He is a Lead Author for the Working Group III contribution to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) AR6 report.
Dr. Ejayeta Joy Abraham-Igwemoh obtained Bachelor and Master Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt. She is currently with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Port Harcourt, as an academic staff. Ejayeta has completed her PhD in Mechanical Engineering, her PhD was on Optimal Biogas Generation and Emission Analysis for Small Scale Power Generation (single cylinder internal combustion engine). She is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers; she is interested in renewable energy for sustainable development.
Assoc Prof T. A. Briggs obtained his Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Nigeria and a Postgraduate certificate in Advanced Studies in Academic Practice from University of Newcastle, UK. Dr. Tobinson Briggs has published some research papers in learned reputable journals both here and abroad. He has a high sense of research curiosities with a great intellectual drive. He has been the Head of Department and a lecturer of Mechatronic Engineering and Acting Director of Intellectual Property Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO). He is currently the Director of University of Port Harcourt Technology Park.
Prof. Chioma Daisy Onyige is a Sociologist by training and a multidisciplinary researcher by choice. She has a PhD in Sociology with specialisation in Criminology, Police Science and Social Work, from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She is a Senior lecturer of Criminology at the Department of Sociology. She currently heads the Department of Sociology at the University of Port in Nigeria. She has several academic publications both in International and local peer reviewed journals. Prof. Onyige has presented several papers in both and international conferences. She is a Fellow of several prestigious international institutions, notably among them is that she is a Commonwealth Fellow at the University of Oxford, UK.
