Global cooling needs are significant and expected to continue growing rapidly. This increasing demand will require large volumes of finance for sustainable cooling solutions to minimize climate impacts and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. However, current cooling finance datasets are limited and lack project-level information, preventing governments, development banks, and private investors from assembling comprehensive cooling transaction databases. Tracking financial commitments is crucial to evaluate how actual cooling investment patterns compare to projected needs.
