Applications are open for the Student Energy Summit 2023

The Student Energy Summit (SES) is Student Energy’s pinnacle event, occurring biennially in a different city around the world to unite hundreds of students from countries all over the globe. SES is a multidisciplinary forum where students can engage with their peers, as well as leaders in the energy industry to learn, collaborate, and take action on energy.

This year’s SES 2023  is coming to the Middle East for the very first time, hosted by New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). Under the theme Reimagining the Future, hundreds of students will gather in Abu Dhabi to create a sustainable outlook for the energy transition by connecting today’s youth to energy professionals to educate the leaders of tomorrow. SES 2023 will provide delegates with the knowledge and connections needed to take on local energy challenges and pursue their own projects while uniting a powerful community of young leaders.

SES 2023 will be a transformative space for young people to collaborate on energy solutions with professionals in the field. SES will bring together 650 young people from over 100 countries to the United Arab Emirates. The international and interdisciplinary programming at SES 2023 will prepare young people for a career in the energy transition, showcasing underrepresented voices in the energy space and empowering youth to build important relationships with peers and industry professionals. This year’s SES will take place from November 28, 2023, to December 1, 2023

To apply for the Summit you will need to be a student, early professional who was recently a student, or a young person interested in the energy transition between the ages of 18-30.
