UniPort students get stuck into their Renewable Energy Fundamentals practical session

Some of the students at our partner university University of Port Harcourt getting stuck into a practical session in their Renewable Energy Fundamentals core course, which makes up a part of their programme.

The Renewable Energy Fundamentals core course aims to provide the students with the ability to technically describe renewable energy conversion technologies and evaluate the importance of renewable energy in sustainable development. Students use fundamental engineering principles to analyse off-grid energy solutions, and evaluate hybrid energy systems with various energy storage technologies. Students also test and evaluate components of off-grid energy systems using functional standards and codes.
