Meet the team behind the TEA-LP
The TEA-LP network continues to grow, with new connections and partnerships being made, CPD courses being developed and our partner universities adapting our TEA-LP courses into their master’s programmes. As a busy year comes to a close, we thought it was time to reintroduce our team so that our growing community can put a face to the individuals behind the workings of the TEA-LP. Please reach out to us and connect – we would love a chat.
“Being part of the Transforming Energy Access – Learning Partnership means being a member of a truly wonderful collaboration with our university partners, in which we aim to enhance the future of energy access education in Africa, Asia and the Indo-Pacific.
The TEA-LP is something tangible and real, and often, I am reminded of the incredible potential we collectively have to make a difference in shaping an energy transition that provides sustainable access to energy. Our growing TEA-LP network is an example of the dedication, enthusiasm and desire to collaborate both locally and internationally and I am grateful to be part of such an amazing initiative.” – Jiska de Groot
“Being part of the Transforming Energy Access – Learning Partnership has introduced me to an amazing group of inspiring academic leaders across Africa, south-east Asia and the Indo-Pacific. It has been a privilege to work with our university partner teams, over several years, to deliver new energy access curricula. Together, we hope to ensure that local masters’ graduates have the multi-disciplinary skills and competencies to contribute effectively to energy access solutions in their countries” – Leslie Ashburner
“Being part of the TEA-LP team means contributing to efforts that improve energy access across Africa. Our focus is on training individuals at various levels within the energy sector, from entry-level positions to top management, and from sales roles to entrepreneurs. By equipping the next generation of energy leaders with practical skills and knowledge, we aim to support sustainable change in the sector.” – Mascha Moorlach
“Being a part of TEA-LP is not just being a part of a forward-thinking and dynamic team, but being a part of something much, much bigger. The direct and tangible impact that our work has on professionals working in the energy sector, Master’s students aspiring to work in the energy sector, and bridging the gender gap while promoting inclusivity is deeply fulfilling and rewarding.” – Kai Forster
“The opportunity to engage with a team that is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement is both inspiring and motivating. It’s an environment where personal and professional growth is encouraged, and where the impact of our contributions is tangible and significant. In essence, being a part of the TEA-LP team is about being an integral part of something greater than oneself, working towards shared success and making a positive difference.” – Rabia Karriem
“I love being part of a team of passionate people who all have the goal of driving change for SDG7. The global challenge of climate change requires action across every industry and sector, and being a part of this movement in clean and accessible energy is such an honour.” – Andrea Fitzpatrick
